Room was of poor quality for a doubletree. Hole in the wall where someone threw open the door. Top of dresser was sticky and disgusting. Some wood finished dissolve with alcohol so likely a party room! Room ac/heat could not hold a temp so either roasting or freezing. Lots of noise in the hall all night long. Sounded like young partiers.

The guy at the front desk was ok. The rooms were nasty, old and unclean. There was hair around the room and the rugs looked very old and they were not clean. I checked in and checked out.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice enough upon check-in. Stepped out for a few hours and returned to freshly hatched cockroaches crawling out of our fridge, onto the walls, and desk. We spend hours sorting through our belongings to ensure we didn't have any "hitchhikers." Threw away all food from fridge. Manager on duty offered to change our room. Being that it was late, we agreed. Second room had a crushed cookie and popcorn on floor. She then showed us several other rooms, all of which were dirty. We left and found a room elsewhere. Complete waste of an entire evening of our trip. Not to mention the money lost on items that had to be thrown away because of the bugs.

Disappointing Trip

Pros: Bedding was comfortable and clean as well as bathroom towels.
Cons: Total remodel of furniture in rooms and rooms themselves. Instructions for guests on how to get around Rte. 17 N/S area to get to other locations.
Location: Location extremely confusing because of large cement divider between north and south Rte. 17. Can't get to other locations without going in circles.
The hotel was an older remodeled hotel with a terrible location because of access off Rt. 17S. The first night they were having problems with one of the two elevators and had to shut it down. The bedding was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also clean. When we asked where there were nice restaurants near by the gentleman at the desk said there were two nice ones just down the road that we could walk to. I'm glad we did not take his advice and walk because it was at least a mile and for two single women over 70 to walk at night in that area is not acceptable especially because of the conditions of the highway traffic getting to the businesses we would have had to walk across their lots. No sidewalks.

Excellent Hotel for the price

Pros: Indoor pool, attached restaurant, cleanliness, excellent staff.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: Very close to the Woodbury Commons and to the Ren Faire. It's about a 20 minute drive to either from the hotel- perfect after a long day of walking.
This is a generic hotel, however, the staff does everything to make you feel like it is not just 'run of the mill'. The hotel is very clean and well kept; as was the room itself. The pool area was well maintained, warm and indoor so for those colder months you can still utilize. I would stay here again and recommend this to friends and family. I felt welcomed and comfortable and they never made you feel 'weird' if you had a question or needed something. Also, the attached bar/restaurant was very tasty and the staff friendly. Great to pop in if you're looking for something to eat while staying at the hotel.
