Not the most comfortable place to stay

Pros: pleasant staff, clean room
Cons: Room temperature, shower, and food temperature
We have stayed in numerous hotels around the world, and this one was not one of the best. The shower head could not be adjusted up and down; therefore, water was directed almost straight back, resulting in water bouncing off of the body and all over the sink and floor. The thermostat on the A/C could not be adjusted, and the room was warmer than we prefer. It was hard to get comfortable with the long, skinny pillows. Breakfast was typical, with scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, etc. but it would have been better had it been hot instead of lukewarm. With all of the hotel options in Merida, we would look elsewhere if we ever return.
