Quaint Hip Hotel close to the beach
I only stayed here one night (found an online discount) and I loved it! I stayed during the week with my boyfriend and walked from the train station to the hotel. Once there, the staff was super friendly and the room was quaint. As a standard room it only had a dresser, mini-fridge, and bed. The bed was comfy and restroom mold free. I was expecting the hammock in the bedroom, but oh well. There were hammocks outside, yet they were taken when we looked. We LOVED the complimentary bikes! Easy check-out process made for maximized time riding around town (even to the local German bar/grill Zum Schneider). Be aware that although the bikes have bells, they have NO lights and the streets have minimal to no lighting in the evening (and drivers are dangerous here). Breakfast nook was delightful! As there was no room service I just asked them for a tray, filled up on fresh fruit, yogurt, english muffin, coffee, orange juice, and took it all back to my room. All in all we adored this place! I'll definitely be returning when visiting Montauk!
