Affordable Room with a nice staff

Pros: location
Cons: TV and Phone
Location: between Monterey and Santa Cruz so good location
Phone did not work and volume on TV not either but was corrected by a friendly staff member who recommended an excellent Mexican restaurant.

Nice for college move in

Very nice employees. Bedding was stained and the bed wasn't super comfortable but overall the room was nice for the price. Pillows were small but they were comfortable. Just needed a better mattress pad.

The hotel staff was friendly and very accomadating,

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff even set up the continental breakfast early for us. The only complaint I had is the charge for the hotel safe in your room is 1.50 a day. The hotel staff just has you sign your name on saying you accept the charge. If I had not read it I would of been charged for something I did not need or want. Rooms are a bit dated and they have the old wall unit for heating and air.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was very good. The only down side was there was not enough food available for breakfast. At 8:30 there was only 1 egg, 3 rolls, 3 yogurts and no orange juice or 2% milk left. There were six of us in our party and when we asked if there was more, we were told, "Sorry, we have no more." They did provide more orange juice however. Just a disappointing breakfast.

Good Value - frequent guest

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the past year and I feel its a good value. Its very clean and located very close to the freeway.

Good Value

We stayed at this hotel over the Memorial Day weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with the staff and the clean rooms. The hotel offers a pretty good breakfast with fresh waffles and hard-boiled eggs - not bad considering it is totally free. We were able to visit the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the beach. There are not too many restaurants too choose from in Watsonville but if we were to visit the area I think we would go to the Comfort Inn again. The only thing they should have is a pool but the Beach is very close
