Great place and stay
This listing is just as advertised. We stayed here for a bachelor party and it was perfect. Great walking distance to everything. The cathedral was right around the corner. Could not get a better location. As others have noted it’s not super clean or well appointed. Definitely seems like a bachelor pad but we loved it.

Suitable only if sleeping and hanging out, kitchen/parking not as advertised
The property was great, with a great location in Old Montreal, a block from the water. The apartment had a large common, gathering area that was perfect, and bedrooms/beds were comfortable. Our daughters like the large king bed in the glass room. The artwork was removed from most of the apartment. The kitchen was outfitted like your apartment right after graduation from college. There were minimal dishes and cups, and the glassware consisted of some small tumblers and shot glasses (no water glasses). Limited pots and pans. The dishwasher was broken and smelled. The place needs several minor repairs and upkeep. The kitchen sink nozzle leaks and is duct-taped together, The towel rod in the front bathroom is broken, the stopper in the bathroom sink is broken, the door sill into the front bathroom is loose, and the dryer makes a screeching sound when used. Initially, the communication from the property manager was great, but once we mentioned the broken dishwasher communication ceased. We stayed 3 days and identified the broken dishwasher on the very first day. The property manager indicated that he was communicating with the repair company and that someone would be by to fix the dishwasher very soon. Never saw the dishwasher repair person or had a working dishwasher. I did notice that a very recent review had mentioned the broken dishwasher, so it would seem that the property manager has known about the broken dishwasher and yet has not followed through with the repairs. No private parking associated with the unit, we had to find our own from a list provided by the property manager. We made do and enjoyed our stay. The apartment is perfect for a getaway in the heart of Montreal, but not ideal for cooking unless improvements are made.

Great location, property maintenance is lacking
This location is in the heart of Old Montreal and within walking distance of just about everything. Pros: location, size of apartment, beds are very comfortable. Cons: property manager is non communicative when it comes to problems with the property. When we checked in at the start of our four night stay, we informed the manager that the dishwasher wasn’t working and the kitchen faucet was broken. No response until the night before we checked out, and no arrangements were made to make repairs. In addition, there was no hot water in one of the bathrooms, no hot water in the kitchen, a broken window in the master bedroom, and a broken towel rod in one of the bathrooms. Advertised WiFi as high speed, it definitely is not. Apparently some of these issues predated our stay, as they were noted in a previous review. This property would be fabulous if properly maintained, but it is not, and for nearly $700 a night I would expect a higher standard.

Not exactly as advertised
We tend to do a lot cooking when we are out of town (and when we're home as well; my husband is a chef!), so the notion that we could stay in such a great location while having a chef's kitchen was very enticing. However, this is not exactly a chef's kitchen. The dishwasher did not work and smelled badly. Also there was no hot water at the kitchen sink. We had to boil water in the electric tea kettle to wash the dishes. The other kitchen appliances were fine, but there were limited glasses and dishes which was a problem when you have to them all by hand. The knives were also not terrific. The hair dryer in the second bathroom did not work. We had a wonderful time, but did miss having hot water in the kitchen!
