Good value, helpful staff

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, location
Cons: no breakfast, no pool
Good location, close to downtown, subway ride away from Old Port. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Great value without sacrificing quality.

Great room with interesting access

We enjoyed this hotel and it was a good deal for the price. We stayed on what we called the 6th floor+. Although our room was numbered in the 600s, once on the 6th floor there was an additional set of stairs to reach a handful of rooms. The room was very nice with a vaulted ceiling and a large bathroom.

Very nice basic hotel in the middle of the city

Pros: The beds were super comfy! The location was great for the price.
Cons: Change the room pictures on the website to more accurately depict the rooms.
Very affordable hotel for the location. The bed was very comfortable, the room nicely decorated, and the bathroom was very nice. Overall I am very happy with this hotel and the price we paid for the room. There were a couple miscommunications that causes me not to rate this hotel as 5/5. First, the picture of the room on the website was a long room with a small wall dividing the sleeping and sitting areas. This was not the case at all. The room was a regular sized hotel room. A great room, but my expectations were different based on the picture. Second, we were told that the only crib they had left was old and rusty. I'm not sure any parent would be happy letting their baby sleep in a crib of this description. So we almost left. Turns out it was just an older pack n play. Not ideal, but just fine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Montreal on a modest budget.

We loved staying here

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. I liked the way the room was laid out. Partial wall separating the bed area and the desk and bathroom.
Location: Very close to St Catherine Street. Also close to the Travel information Center. Several Metro stops close by.
Everyone was very helpful. The room was very clean. Close to the metro, shopping. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we are ever in Montreal.

Nice hotel close to everything.

Very nice stay. Close to subway and bus lines and walking distance for many attractions. Bed was comfortable and great having a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Only negative was in the bathroom. The toilet was so close to the tub it was uncomfortable.

Nice hotel close to a main street

Pros: The best was the breakfast restaurant and the food was excellent we enjoyed it every day except Saturday when we took a tour to Quebec City.
Cons: Maybe the elevators they were kind of narrow
We enjoyed the walking to close by shopping and dining. The Grey Line bus tours were not to far away so we were able to walk and enjoyed the nice weather during our walks.

can't sit on the toilet

Pros: clean and great location
Cons: more services, hospitality and lay out.
Location: right near the main shopping strip, close to bars and restaurants!
Smallest room I've ever seen. When you sit on the toilet your feet basically have to go inside the tub! If we didn't like to be very close all the time (ie if I shared this room with my mom instead of my boyfriend) this room would have been a HUGE problem.

Location

Pros: Location
Cons: No complaints
The hotel itself was an excellent choice. It is very clean, staff very helpful and friendly. The location puts you within walking distance of every attraction. The casino you need to take the free shuttle. We would stay there again without hesitation.

great deal and location

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Made last minute reservations for New Years. The hotel was right off of Saint Catherine Street which was great. The staff at the front desk was beyond helpful and knew everything that was going on. They had tickets for all the events and made everything easy. The only thing to mention is parking was an additional $20 in an outdoor lot across the street. There was an indoor lot for less but it was farther away.

Great Value Hotel in Super Location

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
My daughter and I were visiting McGill University. This hotel was in a perfect location. It was within a couple of blocks of MCGill, the restaurants on Rue Crescent, two Metro stops, and it's one block from the shopping on St Catherine... THe hotel rooms were clean, but small, beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean and modern... all the staff was very helpful.... with all the great restaurants and bars in the area we didnt use the hotel's facilities....
