Classy and Comfy

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Our family really enjoyed our stay here and wished we had booked for longer. We arrived really late but didn't feel any of the stress of staying in a new place - even our 2 year old curled right up to sleep on the bed. We, also, really liked that the hotel pool had a lifeguard on duty - a rarity.

Great pool and gym/terrace. Beds are super comfortable. Décor is so-so. Front desk staff seems inexperienced and not 5 star.

Perfect experience

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and large, especially the bathroom. Most important part of our stay was the relationship with concierge. Before we even arrived Mary Jeanne and Naim emailed us restaurant recommendation, booked tours for us helped us make the best decisions on how to spend our time. We really appreciate their help. Everyone was responsive and friendly!

Nice hotel, great location.

Pros: Location, convenience. The kitchenette served us well.
Cons: It would be great if the pull out bed was of better quality. The mattress didn't match the rest of the decorations, features and amenities.
Location: Lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby. The museums are on Sherbrooke and McGill isn't far away. A lot of places in close proximity.
It's an all suite hotel and the main bedroom has a separate door which worked out well because there were 4 of us. It was way better than getting a room with a two double beds. The sauna and pool were great, but the views from the hot tub outside were even better (even in 12 degree weather). The staff was really pleasant and helpful and we had a wonderful 2 day stay. We'd definitely visit again.

Wonderful hotel in great location

Pros: Very clean and modern hotel. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great place to stay in the Downtown area of Montreal.
Cons: Hotel has a state of the art European system to save on energy. If you are unfamiliar with this type of system, make sure desk personal fully explain
Location: If the weather is nice, you can walk to many attractions. Ask the desk for a map of Downtown and Old Montreal.
2 night stay to take in a Montreal Alouettes game and walk the city. Had a great time.

Perfect location in the heart of Montreal

Helpful, knowledgable staff. Most comfortable bed! Loved the pool and hot tub on the roof. Great restaurants within walking distance. Close to metro and Bell Center. We had a great time. We will stay at Le Crystal next time we go to Montreal!

High end hotel, downtown location

Pros: Spacious suite, kitchenette, pool, hot tub, gym, location. Staff were friendly, responsive and the overall appearance off the property is very chic.
Cons: Breakfast is expensive but unimpressive for the price. I think they need to consider including breakfast in the room rate or offer a nice buffet.
Location: Bell Centre if you are a hockey fan, McGill University, shopping, restaurants and Metro stations are all in walking distance.
Le Crystal is a very, very nice property for travelers that enjoy more space and extra ameneties when they travel. Especially good for families. The pool is small but clean and very pleasant. The roof top hot tub was a nice addition after a chilly day of walking the city. The room was spacious and we got a lot of use from the kitchenette. The staff were very friendly, responsive and eager to please. My only negative observation is that the hotel definitely seemed to struggle a bit with the influx of visitors we had over the weekend. House keeping was noticeably late on Friday and Saturday (our room was not cleaned until 5:30 PM Saturday) and the elevators were much slower. My other comment would be that the breakfast is very expensive for what you get. It is not a strong point of this property. Other than this I would definitely stay here again and recommend the property.

contemporary, clean and perfectly located

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, large room
beautiful hotel, downtown Montreal. Excellent service and extremely clean rooms. I was in the Urban Room, large, clean, very nice bathroom with every comfort, including Pod Espresso machine, glasses, dishes, Microwave and fridge. The only problem is the A/C and heat fan, that is very noisy and cannot be controlled from the room. I had to ask to shut it off, which shuts off the all system, but the weather was nice enough not to need A/C. Also, the window OPENS!

Beautiful Hotel. Lively atmosphere.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Everything was perfect. My only negative comment is there was no real comfortable lounge to have a drink. There is a wonderful formal restaurant with a small bar and two lounge tables. I like to sit and relax, have a drink, people watch. The staff was very accommodating allowing me to bring a drink out into the lobby to sit on a comfortable couch.

First class all the way.

My family and I visited Montreal in June and we stayed at the le Crystal and enjoyed every moment. 5-Star all the way. Lobby, staff, room, location, ambiance everything was excellent! I will stay again.
