If you actually need to sleep: Where NOT to stay in Montreal

Cons: Noisy
Yes, the pool was lovely. Yes, the bar was well decorated. After that, I don't see the point. The rooms reminded me of the quality of a motel and were not what I'm used to for that price in that area of Montreal. Due to its location, this hotel takes on 'mass group bookings' for all kinds of conventions. FIND OUT WHAT GROUPS ARE STAYING THERE BEFORE YOU BOOK!!! I would never stay there again.

The hotel is out dated and dirty, I allergies were really bad and I work up itchy. Maybe bed bugs? Don't plan on using internet here, it just doesn't work.

Nice hotel and location was excellent.

Pros: Staff informed and helpful, location
Cons: Update and get small refrigerator in the rooms
Location: Perfect
Hotel is located in an excellent location, short walk to old Montreal and in the square for the museums and fine arts. Summer concerts just outside your door. Hotel, is fine somewhat dated but it's what I needed. Don't spend much time in the room when touring the city.

Nice hotel walking distance to a coven toon center

Overall stay was 75 to 80%. One of the things I was disappointed was when I asked the recommendation of hotels. They just gave me the list of restaurants close by. They did not ask what kind restaurant I was looking for or anything. It is too bad since they have a lot of good restaurants. I actually got more recommendation from the first restaurant I went to on the first day.

Centre city close to all

Able to park the car completely for the two days there and walk to everything. Used Gray Line for tours an 11 minute walk away. It is hidden inside an office building so get the address and find it that way. The hotel sits over a shopping mall food court that you simply access by elevator. Prices for everything are reasonable and you get good value. This hotel room price would be 2 to 4 times more expensive in the US in a city of similar size. We had a fantastic stay the Hyatt and in Montreal.

Centrally located with great pool and outdoor deck

Large room with comfortable beds. Great location, lovely park next door. Large pool opens to a wrap around outdoor deck. Great for lounging on a summer day. Very nice sauna and steam room.

Hyatt's lesser facility.

Room comfort was excellent, but Wi-Fi was intermittent and difficult to access. Hair dryer didn't work, but they brought us a new one very quickly. Broken hinge on the door of a dresser cabinet was reported on Saturday, repair promised for Sunday, by Wednesday check-out had not been fixed. Front desk staff pleasant but usually large lines waiting for service. Excellent location to area restaurants and shopping.
