Excellent Location with Great Service

I only stayed for two nights on business but would come back again.  The location for my meeting was great, room was bright, cheery and clean.  the staff were very accommodating.

One of the best hotels in Montreal

I have stayed at other hotels of the same star rating around Montreal and the Sheraton is by far the best in terms of location and comfort. Though it is on the expensive side it is well worth it especially if you are going to see a Canadiens game and enjoy the night life the city has to offer.

Nice hotel, great location

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
This hotel was in an excellent location, walking distance to train station was great as we arrived and departed by train. Pool and gym were great. Rooms were clean. Having to pay extra for internet is a bit annoying but you should be aware of that before you book. They did offer us free internet in one of our two rooms though so that was good. Also, very close to two subway stations and it was worth it to buy the 3 day subway pass for getting around the city.

Location, location, location!

Pros: Close restaurants, location, pool, clean
Cons: No free Internet
The room was spacious and newly renovated. Nice view and the bed was huge and comfortable. Room was a bit warm, took me a day to figur out the heater was the AC as well. Super fast elevators and the pool was nice after a long day walking trough Montreal. Shower head is not for tall people ;-) and I'm still amazed that Internet wasn't free in the rooms. However downstairs in the lobby is free wifi. Location was perfect, close to the main attractions of montreal. Cora's breakfast was around the corner as well the bell centre.

Great Hotel excellent location & amenities

Pros: Location, Staff, Amenities, Clean quite rooms with comfortable beds.
Cons: Bar could be better, It looks beautiful but there was never anyone in there while the bars in the area were packed.
Location: Restaurants, bars & clubs, shopping and walking distance to the Canadians Ice rionk.
In town for a weekend. Loved this hotel, walking distance to the downtown bars, restaurants and shopping. Very nice Pool & Sauna. Excellent gym. Rooms were spacious, clean and I had an excellent view from the 24th Floor. Staff were efficient & pleasant. The only complaint I could make is that the hotel bar was dead all weekend, but there are numerous great bars just down the street. Next time I'm in Montreal I will not even consider staying anywhere else.

Business Hotel / Not so good for children

Pros: Rooms were clean, well maintained and comfortable. Beds were extremely plush and comfortable
Cons: Valet, Valet, Valet
Location: St. Catherines (shopping) is 1 block north
We have two teenagers. The room were got was on the 18th floor next to a room with a crying baby. Felt like other families were all put together on the same floor. Not a big problem but it is what it is. Hotel was full of conferences so there were a lot of suits and corporate activities. Car Valet has no idea what a valet is supposed to do. I called for the car and they responded by saying that I should come down and THEN they would get my car. That's the whole point of a valet... i'm calling to get the car so I don't have to wait 15 minutes smelling exhaust fumes with the wife and kids. You can self park for $8 cheaper per day seven floors down. Felt a little like the Seinfeld episode where they know how to take the reservation but they don't know how to hold reservation. Swimming pool and sauna were clean and nice (open 6am to 10pm). Restaurant in the hotel was expensive. $25 for 2 eggs w/ bacon. Walk a block north to St. Catherines and get same breakfast for $6 at Rubens. Great location for shopping. Not so great location if you want to spend time in the Old Town. You have to drive or take a taxi. Night club was rocking on the weekend. Rooms were clean and beds were plush and comfortable. Good for a business traveler or singles but not for families. Wouldn't stay again there with kids.

Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel

Pros: Location and staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Room - was a little bare. No magazine/book on what's going on in Montreal. No refrigerator.
Location: Old town and the Cathedral of Notre Dame (beautiful interior).
Our second stay at this hotel. Lot of changes to the city since we last visited. Hotel room was pleasant and clean but nothing exceptional. Had access to the 37th floor and enjoyed the view over the city and the breakfast and cocktail hour goodies but staff was a little cold and slow on assistance. Hotel Bar/Restaurant on the main level was convenient and had a good menu for light food. Overall location of the hotel was good. Front Desk and the Concierge staff were very helpful with restaurants to recommend, reservations to the restaurants, and, with providing a map to help us get around the city. I will consider this hotel again and recommend it for those traveling to Montreal.
