There was noise in the corridor all night long.

Cons: Noisy
Dirty windows that did not open, rowdy parties in the corridor,

Nice people.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, bilingual service
Cons: no free breakfast
Good service. Nice neighbourhood. Wish they had a free breakfast and tea in the rooms - not just coffee.

Nice location in downtown Montreal

We are an older married couple touring Montreal. We enjoyed our week-long stay at this hotel. It isn't fancy or overdone, but it provided what we needed. We really enjoyed the comfortable bed, quality toiletries and modern tv. Location was extremely convenient for tourism. If you get a city view, be prepared for traffic noise. Also, prior reviewers had mentioned the smell of smoke in some rooms. We had this problem in the first room, but the staff very graciously moved us. We didn't use the pool or restaurant, so can't evaluate those amenities. All in all, a good experience and we would consider returning.

Pros: The location, rate, and helpful staff were great.
Location: right down the street from St Catherine's a very busy street with shops. Also blocks from where the Canadians play hockey and the metro
We stayed for two nights, it was our first time in Montreal. It was very easy to get to, right off of 720. The receptionist was very helpful everyone spoke both English and French. Parking was easy as well. When we got to the room, it was very clean and spacious. For the rate and location this was a great hotel choice.

When we checked out, the woman behind the counter was very rude.

Disappointing is the best description

Location: Good location.
(-) Non-functioning room keys forcing us to change rooms; Lack of support from front desk staff (example: "Well, do you even know how to use a hotel key?"); Alarm clock, microwave and fridge all unplugged; Extremely loud air conditionner; Old mattress with worn-out springs (described as "crater" by both young children and parents); Parking staff difficult to deal with. (+) Very nice cleaning and maintenance staff.

Nice hotel downtown

Room was great. Ended up in a junior suite. Parking isn't very good.
