The Resort was amazing, the staff could not have been any more friendly and accommodating then they were. One of the best vacations my wife and I have ha in a long time. We already booked our stay for next Christmas/New Years. Thank you Sandals

Beautiful Location and Fabulous Accommodations

Pros: Spacious, comfortable rooms. Incredible food! Easy availability of kayaks, sail boats, and paddle boards. Varied evening entertainment. Beautiful!

Cons: Lounge chairs are reserved hours in advance of anybody using them. Hard to get reservations at the few restaurants that require them.

Location: We barely left the resort, but a boat ride down the coast is great. Marigot Bay is beautiful and you must see the Pitons!

After going through Customs, Sandals guests go to the Sandals lounge at the airport where you can have drinks and wait for your shuttle. The ride from the airport is a little over an hour on windy, hilly roads, with some breathtaking views along the way. Hotel staff takes your luggage while you have champagne and check-in. You get basic info and a staff member escorts you to your room and shows you where to find everything. The property is very large with varying levels of accommodation. We stayed in the main building with a room overlooking the gardens and golf course, which was actually better for us than if we were facing the ocean and pool because it was very quiet. There are 3 pools on the property, with the largest being right next to the beach. 2 of the pools have swim- up bars. The resort is built on a fairly steep hill and goes to the other side of a point at the top, so the views are incredible wherever you go. Throughout our week, we enjoyed a snorkeling boat trip, kayaking, and sailing, all of which are free. We took a day trip with a local vendor to see some sights and other parts of the island. This was a lot of fun and seeing the island from the water is a real treat because it is a volcanic island and the rock formations along the shoreline are unique. There are 9 restaurants in the property, each with its own ambiance and the food was incredible almost everywhere. Most staff members were friendly and accommodating and enjoyed talking about island life.

Excellent Service at La Toc

One week ago I stayed at Sandals Regency la Toc in an ocean view room. Whilst the service and the food were excellent, the room was good but needs a bit of upgrading to the bathroom; it was very clean and comfortable but not pristine and new; I guess the hotel is old. The mixed alcoholic beverages tasted a bit watery not creamy as I exptected but overall it was good value for money. I would recommend Sandals any day, they really provide superior service.

Amazing experience!! BEAUTIFUL views and rooms!

My husband and I went to Sandals La Toc for our honeymoon and were MORE than pleased with the hotel from start to finish. Our room had a private pool and had views to die for. Absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were clean and the turn down services every night made our honeymoon EXTRA special. The staff was amazing. We had two butlers, Shauna and Jenny, who were amazing. However, the friends we met there that didn't have butlers had an equally amazing experience with the staff. They were helpful, constantly asking if we needed anything and friendly. People have complained about the beach since Grande's beach is more calm, but it was only a little "rough" for a few days out of the trip and the rest were calm like a lake. AND what people are calling rough is just a few waves which where we are from in Jersey...we LOVE! Staying at the top of the cliff is absolutely beautiful. You really get those sunsets and sunrises that you want on a trip. There is a shuttle that comes every 5 minutes to help you get up and down the hill. However, there is a private pool at the top of the cliff with a swim up bar as well. In general...amazing time. Don't listen to other peoples reviews about the little things that went wrong on their vacation. It's amazing.

Loved this resort!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet

My husband and I went to sandals la toc for our honeymoon. The resort is so beautiful and offered all kinds of free activities. We went sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, as well as took part in many of the events at the resort, it was amazing! I highly recommend sandals resorts, they really took care of us. Also the food was so delicious and we had many restaurants and lots of variety to chose from. There is truly something for everyone there!

Had Fun Until We Were Robbed!!!!

Pros: all inclusive for the most part

Cons: No free Internet, Poor breakfast, bad customer?/ront desk service, too costly

When we arrived we were greeted by what seemed to be friendly staff but all they wanted was us to hurry up and surrender credit card info. They wouldnt show us to our room until we did do first which was a complete turn off because when we visited sandals in Jamaica they didnt care what we did, they never stressed us. The food at the buffet was always ice cold. If we wanted hot food we would have to stalk the grill for a omlet or hotcakes. We went on a jeep safari excursion which was fun, when we returned we placed 60 dollars in US money in our safe with out further thought. The next day when we went to get our cash out the money was gone!! I thought that maybe my husband took the money out and absentmindely lost it because how else would money magically disappear from a safe you set the password to? Well now that I think about it, it is very possible when instructions on how to reset the safe is right on the front not to mention what employee dont know the tricks of opening a safe when they work for a hotel? Ive learned a few while working at the hilton. When I read about how many other people had their money missing from their safe as well as other items like clothing taken from their luggage I felt better. Security made us feel like the theft was our fault! Security does the bare minimum to help you and basically tell you oh well because they have heard the theif song cried out thousands of times and they simply smirk in your face because at the end of the day they already cashed in on your 3000 - 5000 you coughed up to get there. I would never go back there. Stray cats run around the buffet area while birds swoop down stealing food off your plate. What I nightmare! I wouldnt seen someone I hated with all my guts and glory to that resort. EVER. I do plan to complain to their headquarters also.

I would not recommend sandals la toc!

I would not recommend sandals la toc because we had money stolen out of our own "secured" safe in our room. When security came they implied that we "lost" it or must have already spent it. They claimed that no one has access to these safes except for them but it was clear to the reports that someone did come into our room while we were gone and stole the money. The St. Lucian police was very nice and basically said it was an inside job from the resort and that it has happened on previous occasions. Not only were we upset that we had money stolen during our honeymoon but then we asked the resort if we could use their phone to cancel our credit cards (just in case someone took down the information) they said no! The resort never touched base with us again about the break in and they just pretended like it had never happened! I won't go back to a Sandals resort again because of this problem!

Dirty Rip Off

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, dirty rooms

Our stay at Sandals LaToc was horrible. Total rip off. Rooms dirty and in state of disrepair. Total lack of maintainence. Area rugs in rooms filthy. Food was very good but that was it. Golf course was a joke. The grass (and weeds) on the fairway were 8 inches tall. Like playing golf in a pasture. Had to ask multiple times every day to get fridge restocked with soda and could not get at all several days. Begged for towels at pool and finally got hours later. Management offered us two nights free on next stay at any Sandals property as concession but we would not vacation at another Sandals property if they paid us.

Nightmare!

Cons: Nothing close, No free Internet, Noisy, Poor breakfast, customer service, unorganized

We went here for our Honeymoon 9/12/11 to 9/18/11. Well, we were stuck there due to the bridges flooding Sunday the 18th after driving 4 ½ hours around the mountain and a 1 ½ boat ride to the airport…. That’s was Sandal’s bright idea. We get to the dock and had to wait another 30-40 minutes for a bus to show up because the resort wasn’t organized. We barely missed our flight and had to go back to the resort (another hour drive) and their way of saying sorry for the inconvenience was a room of course and a complimentary 3 minute phone call…… My husband lost it. He said, what is this, a prison? They said. Sir, that’s all we can afford.… He was livid. He said I don’t think so. After all these people spent a lot of money you can afford more. So they gave us 30 minutes. Ridiculous. We were able to get an earlier flight Monday so we went from St. Lucia to San Juan to Miami to Houston. Exhausting! That resort was nothing like the website. The rooms were old and had a weird smell to them. There were cats and birds everywhere when we were eating. Birds were grabbing food off the buffet. The service there was bad. They would act like it was an inconvenience to them to wait on us…. Oh and the golf course, terrible, and it's not free like the website says. You have to pay for the cart fee, club rental and pay your caddie. Ended up being $87. That island was just depressing. Shacks with tin roofs all along the road and poor skinny dogs running loose. Oh, and cows and goats tied to trees. So sad.
