2023 Christmas Shopping Trip
This is our 2nd year to stay at Abby's Ranch and we had an amazing time again this year! So much so that we already booked for 2024!!

Great for a family!
We visited family for Thanksgiving and this was the perfect property for us. Close to family we were visiting and plenty of space for 10 of us. Kids loved the outside area and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks so much!

Quiet setting
We were in town for a wedding. The location is about 15 minutes out of town, very easy drive into town and quiet setting when you return back to the house.

Abby's Ranch Was Perfect for our Group
We loved our time at Abby's Ranch! My family and my cousin's family and our 4 kids (combined) had a great experience. Two of the rooms had king beds (so comfy!) which was perfect for the adults and then the room with the bunk beds was perfect for the kiddos. There was plenty of room outside for the kids to run and play. And they loved the animals at the property next door. They really enjoyed feeding the donkey and goats some carrots and lettuce through the fence. We felt like we were "in the country" but it only took about 10 or 15 minutes to get into New Braunfels so it was nice being close to everything. Our only challenge was that there were a lot of bulbs that were out, so it made things a little dark (especially the kitchen; it was tough cooking in the dim light). However, I mentioned it to the host and I'm sure that will be addressed after our visit. The place was very well stocked. We felt right at home. We loved it here and would definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home
This is a beautiful home with great decor. The only problem we had was that the picture of living room in house showed that there were two recliners. The recliners are no longer there and picture needs to be changed. The recliners were part of main decision of our staying there. Otherwise we had no problems. Great granddaughter visited and got to visit donkey; she would love to come back every day and geed him.

Would stay here again
We showed up in the midst of a really hard freeze just before Christmas. Unfortunately pipes were frozen and we were left with very little water pressure. We communicated with the owner immediately once we discovered the water issue and she was quick to respond. Unfortunately, due to no fault of her own, a plumber would not come out because of the holiday weekend and it wasn’t a big enough of an emergency. Luckily we were still able to get by with the little water pressure we had. The owner frequently checked in with us and even reimbursed us for part of our stay. Despite the water issue, we would still absolutely stay here again and hope to next summer when we come to visit family. We loved the house and property as a whole. It was the perfect fit for our family.

Christmas Shopping 2022
My mom, sisters and I take an annual Christmas shopping trip to Sam Marcos. This year we stayed in New Braunfels at Abbey's Ranch and had a fantastic time! The house is the perfect size, the kitchen is well equipped and we had a magical time watching the wildlife!!
