All the staff were friendly and helpful. Check in/check out was easy. The elevator and the room were small but it’s Manhattan so it wasn’t a surprise to me. Other reviews noted it was noisy but I didn’t have that problem. I was on the sixth floor and it was quiet. The location was great for my needs, only a couple of blocks from the theaters I was visiting. My overall experience was good.

This hotel has an awesome location! But that’s it. You are right on time square so not a lot of walking you have to do. But our was so small. The was blood on our blankets, tissue paper in the toilet, empty soap boxes. One day I accidentally fell asleep with my makeup on ( it was a daytime nap from walking and exploring all day) and I noticed I got my makeup on the sheets but I thought it will wash out and I’ll have fresh sheets later. Nope they made our bed with these same dirty sheets. My last day there I tried taking a shower but the hot water wouldn’t come through, it’s 20 degrees outside and here I am shivering in the shower. The elevators a sketchy and suuuupppper small. The pictures online are super misleading. Would not stay here again.

A/C Noise

The A/C is way too noisy. Talked to front desk but were unable to do anything. Also they failed to notify that there was a major construction next to the hotel that caused too much noise too early in the morning. Still can’t beat the location.

Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to see you enjoyed our central location. It is unfortunate about the construction although not at the property its self Time square is a noisy location, always looking to rebuild and improve. We hope to welcome you back in the near future. We do have rooms in quiet locations of the building; we would be happy to accommodate you with.

Welcome ToT the Tiny People Hotel in NYC

Pros: Staff.
Cons: Windows in room 725 need to be insulated correctly. The cold draft coming in through the window cracks is brutal.
Not good. Our block was on lock down by NYPD due to the new years celebration going on 100 feet away. SMH. This not the place to be on New Years eve. However, I can see how this hotel would be fitting for a young outgoing couple or college students looking to stay in the times square area during the summer time in NYC.

Be careful of charges

Pros: Staff and location.
Cons: Honesty about charges for incidentals. You should be given a queen bed when pay for one. Don’t imply that you will have a city view.
Location: Location just a few steps from Times Square and subway station. Also very close to Rockefeller Center.
Beware about charges for incidentals. Our room charge for 2 nights was 600,04, A ridiculous charge of $373 was held on our card for incidentals. It took about one week to come off. They did not tell us about the charge. I found it after I got home. Also do not waste your money on a city view. All we could see was the building across the road from the 4th floor. We also paid extra for a queen bed but was given a full size bed. This is a shame these things happened since it is in a wonderful location. It was very clean and staff was awesome.

Friendly Staff, but Uncomfortable Rooms

I've stayed in the Night Hotel before, but this time was significantly different from the first. The hotel Staff was still very friendly and accommodating, but the room itself was not great. The room was very tiny and we had two twin beds. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. The water pressure in the shower was also low, so the water came out of the shower in a trickle. The friend I was traveling with also woke up with hives, which we think was a reaction to the detergent or fabric softener used on the sheets. The first time I stayed here was a much better experience and I do not think that I will stay here again.

Hi Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to review us and for your kind words regarding the staff. I apologize deeply for the inconvenience you and your friend had experienced with us during your stay. I have spoken with you over the phone a few times regarding the Hives from an allergic reaction. I am happy she is well. I hope that on your Next visit to NYC should you decide to give us another chance we can better accommodate you and provide a much better experience. We look forward to welcoming you back! May you have a wonderful day ~

Clean but very small

There are only 2 small elevators for the whole hotel. When we arrived, only one was working. luckily we were on the 2nd floor so we were able to take the stairs most of the time. As for the room, wow, so small. I felt like we were in a closet. We had the superior king room. There was enough space for a night stand on both sides of the bed. I had to tilt my head to walk around the base of the bed so I didn't hit my head on the television hanging on the wall. Overall it was clean and safe which is what mattered. However, it should be called a micro king room.
