The staff was very friendly and helpful for our entire stay.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Our room was smallish, but very comfortable. The staff was very helpful with answering our questions and helping us get around NYC. The hotel is within walking distance of all of the major tourist sites in Manhattan and the area felt very safe. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Manhattan.

Great but Noisy

The Hotel was brand new only 7 months old,so everything was clean and new.The staff were over friendly.We enjoyed our stay except the noise coming from the Madison Av.We woke up 03 AM because of the truck and horn traffic in NY and could not go to sleep,so you want to stay there take ear plugs with you.But the location was also perfect.

Great staff

Cons: they did what they could with the remodel but the my room was small, a bit noisy, and did not have a tub, Pros: the room was clean and comfortable, the location was quite good and they also served complimentary morning pastries and coffee in the lobby, which was appreciated and promoted friendly mingling among the mostly hipster guests. Also, the staff was exceptionally nice, from the doormen, to the front desk, to the maids. I stayed 3 days and It was definitely a net postive experience. I would stay there again.

A fun place to be!

I thought the staff was wonderful, they even upgraded my friend and me at no extra charge! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Of course the rooms are small...it's in NYC!!! One downfall - there was some hair in the drain of the bathtub. I would stay here agin

Little Old Lady Living in a Shoe

I was sadly disappointed in the Mave. I have been to NYC alot and thought we try a new hotel. The room was so small it reminded me of a shoebox. The bathroom had a step going up to it that could trip you, stub your toe, or knock you off balance. The staff was very pleasant but the rooms were claustrophobic.
