This review is not about the Oakes, as they booked me into the hilton, due to maintenance/renovations at their hotel for the room i booked.. although the room in the Hilton was nice, we did have some issues with the room temperature and the water. the room temperature was a little warm, we tried to cool it, which just caused for the room to heat up even more... now there didn't seem to be a solution for this. so we were in a room where the temperature was reading 24 initially but 28 celsius. so to sleep was not that great... in the morning we didn't seem to have HOT water. like it was a little warm, but we couldn't take a nice HOT shower... so this was also a little disspointing..

This hotel is very nice, the rooms are great, love the shower soaps and lotion provided and the beds are extremely comfortable. We had troubles with the heat in our room but the people working helped us by providing us with a space heater. We were told we were getting a room with two queen beds and a city view, but our bed were only doubles, which was not a big deal at all. The downfall is that our “city view” was the side of the building directly next to us. I believe that the views from the room should be made clear as it was kind of upsetting to not have a view of anything. Overall, this is a very nice hotel, I would stay again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Niagara Falls.
