Maybe I didn’t read the fine print but in addition to the booking fee we had to pay a rather steep resort fee. Parking was also expensive. The car enjoyed a rate similar to room costs on the mainland.

The staff was wonderful and the property was really nice. The rooms could use an upgrade and some updating, the mattresses were very hard, the pillows weren't very comfortable and the lighting in the bathroom was very dim. Overall, some cozy touches and more amenities (like a microwave, bottled water, robes, etc.) would be nice.
