The staff was unhelpful and not exactly courteous. We had no front desk when we checked in. The hotel next to us was better with a helpful front desk and helped us out with information. I would not go back to our hotel again

Best option to visit surroundings
We were received in a very polite and efficient manner. With early check in. They gave us one of the best rooms in the Hotel, with incredible view and balcony. Thank you. Many activities to do in the surroundings, and easy to rent bikes, e bikes, kayaks, etc. Instead of staying in Hallstatt, stay here and row, paddle or bike to the city infront.

Not providing extra bedding, like for 2 person 2 pilows. Just minimum. Front desk person was very helpful. Breakfast was with minimum items over priced and the land lady was just observing.

I arrived at the property to find no one there and unable to check in. Finally another guest happened to walk by and showed me how to check myself in. This was 6:30pm and there was absolutely no staff. Not only was there no staff, the place was completely locked up.I made a reservation at this place because I wanted to enjoy the beautiful terrace on the lake but unfortunately it was closed with no access. The restaurant and bar was already closed too. At 6:30pm! Not only that, the vending machines were completely empty. Only thing to drink at that time was out of the bathroom faucet. Another important thing to know is there is very little around this hotel. The only place nearby to get a drink or something to eat closes at 8pm. This place has mediocre reviews for a reason. Take your chances some where else.
