Very dated. It took 2 hours to get into a room at check in, the first room smelled like cigarettes, the second the carpet was soaked, we finally got an acceptable room on the third try. On our fourth day the mini fridge stopped working, we called the front desk and when we return we discovered they only adjusted the temp, but that didn’t work and we lost the food we had inside. After another call they brought us a new one. Two days in a row house keeping did not leave any wash clothes, the second time we had to go to the front desk to get more because they didn’t have any house keepers on the property at the time. At check out our total was more than what we had been told and the front desk clerk was very rude and said she couldn’t help and that the only way to have it resolved was to see the manger in person, but of course there was no manager at the time and we where told a manager wouldn’t be in until after our flight.

I love the soaker tubs. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The resort overall is a bit run-down. In the rooms, the carpet needs replacing or a really deep cleaning. After bathing our feet were black just from walking from the bathroom to the door. Overall it's a good experience, but there are some details which need some attention.

There was nothing I liked about my stay at Red Lion “Hotel” (this is actually more like a MOTEL given all the room doors open to the outside). The whole experience felt very unsafe to me. First - the check in line was very long. Then I was given a room far from the front of the building (I am a female traveling alone). That rooms dead bolt would not engage fully due to a problem with the door plate (obviously this has been this way for a while). So after packing up I was moved to another room around the corner (this involves packing my car, driving back to the front and waiting in line again). The new room was quite dilapidated and run down. Holes I. The door and wall had been crudely patched up, there was a rip in the couch, the shower rod was almost falling out of the wall (which made it impossible to close the curtain fully since it was uneven), the couch had what looked like a good or vomit stain on it, and the molding and caulking was falling apart or missing in places. It was honestly quite disgusting. The second room I was in also had a door between 2 rooms that allowed all the noise from the neighbors to be heard. During my first night (and what would be my ONLY night), there were people outside my door until 2am making lots of noise. The next morning, when I left the hotel there were 2 police cars parked at the entrance/lobby and when I returned that evening there was a security guard banging on a nearby door. That was it - I canceled my next 4 nights. Stay away :(

Pros: The Hotel is near to the Disney park. the beds are comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. and there is a pizza hut into the hotel, also the Walmart is very very close from the hotel. The staff they were always friendly. Cons: The Hotel is old and It does not look like the pictures, is not a place for to stay long time is most like a Motel, the rooms smell smoke the people smoke in the corridors. I don't recommend the hotel, but if you are looking a place only for a few days and to sleep is ok, if you traveling with children is better look for other options

It was wonderful how close it was to all of the Disney Parks! That was a huge plus for us. We stayed in building 5 which was in the back and it was great. We stayed a Sunday thru Friday and it was a fantastic stay! I would definitely come again.

Room was clean. Need to have utensils at guest requests. Outside of property was a little filthy, especially in building 10 and the hallways had a bad smell. Also, people were making loud noise around 4am on the outside while we were trying to sleep. Overall, our stay was decent.
