Thank you Rebecca for taking the time to submit a review. I apologize for any confusion regarding our pet fee. We do not charge a deposit. There is a complete description on Expedia's website (which is the 3rd party site you used to reserve your room) explaining our pet fee and policy. Most hotels operate the same regarding pets. I hope you found your guestroom clean and comfortable. It sounds like the ladies at the front desk were friendly!
