Great property! Excellent location, short walk from the central station, shopping district, palace and other monuments. Rooms are well presented and good size but I feel the bathrooms were small, toileteries are L’Occitane but not refilled regularly I presume, we had run out of shower gel, requested the house keeping but wasn’t done and they said they had run out of stock, twice complained at reception and finally it was refilled. Moisturiser also ran out but we had some of our own to use. The restaurant closes at 9pm and extremely limited choices so we had to dine out, the Bristol bar adjacent to hotel closes at 10pm sharp, not really ideal if you want to grab a drink post dinner & unwind. We had a rushed drink upon our arrival at the Bristol bar as the hotel bar was closed at 9pm. Upon our late arrival for check in into hotel we were advised room service was not available post 9pm so had to go hunting for food, luckily there is a deli close by so picked up some sandwiches. Staff at reception are helpfull mostly. Check in wasn’t the best experience with a wrong room number written on card so I had to come back down to find out the number written was incorrect. The restaurant is quite busy at lunch. A staff member at reception helped us book a ride back to the airport & very courteous. All in all a great property! Breakfast was fabulous, huge selection, loved it

Beautiful hotel with old world charm. Nicely furnished. Great location. Not a fan of a soft foam mattress but bed was still comfy. Great breakfast buffet. Nice lighting in bathroom.

STAY HERE!
The comfort and care you could only dream of in a hotel! The concierge? Incredible. The breakfast… there will never be a better breakfast to experienced. Immaculate. I will forever and always remember I’m the fondest way possible the Hotel Bristol. I only wish i purchased one of their beautiful monogrammed cups to keep a piece of HB in my home!

Lovely Old-world Hotel, but avoid the 7th floor
The Hotel Bristol is a beautiful old hotel, we placed in the center of Oslo. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is fantastic, great old-world charm. Very busy every afternoon with people having formal tea. Service is terrific in every area. My only complaint is that the 7th floor is unreachable by elevator. Our room was very nice, but we had to take the elevator to the 6th floor and then walk up stairs (with heavy bags) to get to our room. The hotel should provide porter service to anyone staying in these rooms and warn guests I only have one
