Stunning Village Studio - Walk to Rosemary Beach!

This unit is located on the 2nd floor which is easily accessible by our elevator. It is walking distance to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Watercolor & Seaside are also only a bike or car ride away. The great restaurants & shops of The Village of South Walton are right outside your door. Two beach chairs are provided in the unit for your use!

PLEASE NOTE - When booking, VRBO will prompt payment for the full amount. However, only 50% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking and the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to check in.


Living and Sleeping Area:

Features a KING size bed with a pillow top mattress, high count linens, Smart TV w/ built-in Netflix, and a pull-out queen sofa with an extra thick mattress.

Kitchenette:

The kitchenette is very functional with granite countertops, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, and microwave.

The Village of South Walton is a newer complex with 2 pools (one is heated between March 1 - May 1), a hot tub, gas grills at the pool, and free on-call tram service to Seacrest Beach. this unit has views of 30A and is a 5 minute walk to Rosemary.

I am on-call as needed. I check-in with all guests on the first morning of their stay to make sure they have everything they need.

Everything you need is foot steps away and bike rental is located onsite should you decide to rent. Leave your car in the parking lot and enjoy the great restaurants, shopping, beaches, and walking and biking paths. This unit is perfect for couples and small families.

The free shuttle runs continuously to the beach (hours vary depending on the season), but it's also just a short 7 minute walk if you choose to walk. The shuttle is also on demand - if it is not currently at the station, simply call and they will come pick you up.

Free parking is provided. Rosemary Beach is just a short 5 minute walk away, Alys Beach is a 10 minute walk, and the great shops and restaurants of The Village of South Walton are right outside your door.

2 night minimum unless there is a single night available between two existing bookings. There are laundry facilities located just down the hall. The pools and tram station are located right outside the back of our building. We only offer exceptions to our cancellation policy for a mandatory evacuation of the area due to a tropical storm or hurricane. If you would like protection in case something else arises that may cause a change to your travel plans, we recommend you purchase independent travel insurance.

We were not allowed access to the pool prior to check in at 4pm, or after 10am day of check out. I’ve never heard of such a policy, and clearly neither had others because 2 different couples were standing at the gate with their suitcases with nowhere to go because they flights weren’t until later in the day. If it’s a policy, it should be mentioned in the online description. Also, we turned the AC down to 68 degrees and the room never completely cooled down.

Nice property in walking distance of private beach

We spent a week at this property in June, this being our first time to 30A. The condo itself is in good condition, notably the bed is comfy and the A/C unit keeps the room cool. The complex the condo is located in has two nice pools (one being a 2ft wading pool) and a hot tub. It also has a few restaurants and other retail stores that are just down stairs from the condo. Parking was easy, we never struggled to find a spot. Access to the beach is convenient, through a gated neighborhood a 7-8min walk away. Depending on when you go to the beach it can be quite crowded. Since the beach is private, there's a small designated area where you can setup your umbrella and chairs (and a much larger separate area if renting chairs/umbrellas). Each day we arrived around 8:30am and were 3-4 rows of people back from the water. It was much busier around the weekend than mid-week. One nice surprise was that the condo has an umbrella and 2 chairs for you to use. The only thing that didn't work well for my family during our stay was the noise level in and around the building in the afternoon and evening hours (neighbors walking around in the unit above us, noise from foot traffic outside, and live music in the center of the complex that lasts till 9pm), which disturbed our toddler's sleep schedule. It was perfectly quiet during the night hours though, so this shouldn't be an issue for most. Besides that we enjoyed our stay.

Cramped beach

The beach access for the PUD was tiny. Everyone was crammed in like sardines and getting angry with the beach rental company who refused to let people set up behind the rental beach chairs. and the beach chairs were booked so that wasn’t an option. We ended up going to a state park for a few days, which worked out, but wasn’t as ideal. Local restaurants repeatedly nickeled and dimed -and blatantly overcharged — on mediocre food. I would have preferred the ability to cook for myself and a unit with a larger fridge and stove/oven. Highlights were pepperoni pizza at Pizza by the Sea and oysters at stinky’s. Unit was as advertised, but I’d recommend taking out the dresser with the broken drawer slides and adding something more functional.

Lovely Place!

This lovely 2nd floor unit (stairs only) was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed! We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed and more! (It was off-season and a bit chilly, so we didn't get a chance to use the provided beach chairs, etc.). We very much enjoyed our stay!

Wedding weekend

This property worked perfectly for attending our friends wedding in Rosemary Beach. The unit was the perfect size for my husband and I. The walk to Rosemary was short, and renting in Seacrest was a lot more cost effective. We would definitely rent in this location, and from this owner again.

Nice place but some things to improve on

This is a very family oriented complex so if you do not want to be overrun by kids, do not stay here in the summer or fall break. The location is great. Short walk to downtown Rosemary with all the restaurants and shops, lots of coffee places in either direction. This unit was a little run down in my opinion. Molding beat up and dirty, shower rod very rusty, entry door dirty. Decorated very nice, comfortable bed, furniture was in good shape. Units sits directly above the pizza place so good or bad, you constantly smell pizza only when leaving the unit. Pools were immediately across from the unit so not far to go at all. Beach chairs and umbrella is included in unit which was nice. Bottom line...units needs some TLC, complex is total family-focused if you want that, location is amazing, decor and furniture is nice, your typical multi unit building/high rise on 30A.

Great Vacation!

This unit was so wonderful. My daughter and I had plenty of space, and it was very clean and cozy. The location was awesome. It's near the pools, shops, restaurants, and walking distance to Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants. The beach access was very easy via the tram, and it is also a close walk. The host was very friendly and accessible. We will definitely stay again on our next 30A adventure.

Great location

Small place but worked for us as we had family staying in a house across the street. Advertised as sleeps 4 but that would not work as one bed and one sofa. Picture shows two sofas (and a rug) which are not in the unit. There are two closets in the efficiency but both were locked and we had to but our luggage on the floor in a small space. I would not call this a one bedroom condo as the bedroom is not separate….all open space except bathroom. It is warm in the cove where the bed is….a ceiling fan would help in place of the chandelier.

Perfect Location

Walkable location and a beautiful beach. The section of the private beach can get crowded so go early to secure your spot. We were told by other 30A visitors to go down to the beach at 6am to put your chairs down and then return when you’re ready. They were so right! The property had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. Lots of restaurants below the condo, 2 private pools and super cute shops. John checked on us throughout the stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. I’d definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Great location to the beach, restaurants, and private pool and hot tub! The location was quiet as well, but we arrived before all the spring breakers. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you don’t want to spend money on a resort along 30A!

Great Rosemary Beach getaway

We stayed here on a Mother/Daughter weekend. The property is perfectly sized for 2 people. It is within close walking or biking distance to great shops and restaurants. The owner provided a fabulous electronic property guide ahead of our stay so we could familiarize ourselves with check-in, dining options and pool/beach processes and access among so many other wonderful details. In all of our years staying in properties, this was hands-down the best, most helpful guide we have ever experienced. The unit was clean with all the amenities you would want. The area is just lovely! Thanks for a great stay!
