In fact, the hotel Holiday Inn Roissy charles de gaulle airport is located in the airport area. Also CDG airport is not based in Paris but in Roissy-en-france so it's a bit far away from Paris. We are sorry to read you did not know about those informations. Regards, Camille.

airport hotel not worth it
Pros:nothing
Cons:room is quite small. No outlet near a mirror to dry hair
the buses between hotel and airport are way too infrequent. Should have stayed in Paris.
the hotel itself was being renovated. No elevator. Had an odor in the main corridors. They should have provided a significant discount.

I am very surprised by your review as our lifts are working fine. I am sorry you found the shuttle too infrequent, it runs every 20 to 30 minutes depending on the period of the day from 5.05am to midnight.
We are finishing the restaurant in 3 weeks from now, I hope you will come again to see the new open lobby!

Great Hotel and staff!!
Pros:Clean, modern, great staff, nice size queen room with complimentary stocked mini-refridge. No alcohol in mini-bar...no problem. STAY HERE!!
Cons:I saw nothing that could be improved. The shuttles run on time, but be patient because the bus stops at several hotels. The hotel was GREAT!!
Location:Located very near,(within a few miles of Charles de Gaulle Airport. Not a long train ride into Paris for a very good rate!!
We stayed for three days at the Holiday Inn Charles de Gaulle Airport. We couldn't locate the shuttle, so took a taxi...Ask questions and save.!! Only a few miles from the hotel. All of the hotel staff, especially the front desk staff were excellent. I had read reviews regarding this lodging that weren't very good. NOT TRUE!! We stayed in an Executive Suite and the room was fairly large and modern. We stayed here to be able to take the shuttle back and forth to the airport to visit Paris. Once we found the bus locations (all are on the same floor, 5th floor in terminal 2, it was a breeze. We took the shuttle, then the train into Paris...about a 45 minute trip from Holiday to downtown Paris. For the best experience take the Hop on hop off bus. Goes to 11 locations. But worth every penny!! You cannot go wrong staying at this hotel for your ground zero point of access. Once again, I wish I could list the staff personally because they were all so helpful and friendly. Point of Interest, make your exchange in downtown Paris. PLEASE don't pass up this hotel!! You won't regret it!!

Convenient to airport
Excellent for flying in or out of CDG. Convenient, free shuttle surface to airport. Great breakfast buffet and very comfortable room.

Nice hotel close to CDG airport with free shuttle
Pros:close proximity to the airport with a restaurant on premises.
Location:close to the airport
Everything was great, the staff, rooms and restaurant. I rate it 4 stars. The free shuttle picks up from many hotels and gets very busy so plan to go earlier is case it is filled up.
