Walk down the driveway and across the street and you will be at War Memorial Park. The park includes a kids playground, splash pad, and a recreational walking/exercising track. Every Saturday, the Pass Market sets up in the park and sells fresh produce, art, jewelry, etc. In front of the park is a community favorite, the Cat Island Coffee House.

Adjacent to the property is the public recreation area which includes 4 tennis courts, a football field, 2 baseball fields, and a basketball court, as well as a war tank.
