This cabin was perfect for our family of five. With two teenagers and a younger child, everyone had space to themselves, but opportunities for family time by the fire and in the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.
The cabin itself was beautiful and comfortable, and itâs clear the owners have invested a great deal of time and effort into the property. The mountain views were absolutely worth the drive. As stated in advance, the roads are narrow and steep but manageableâdriving slowly is important, as the turns are sharp and blind. We also appreciated that the steps and driveway were salted during icy conditions. Additionally, the drive into the local town was only about 15 minutes, and that convenience was appreciated if anything was needed. The interior of the cabin overall is beautiful, and the bear theme is honestly what led us to choose this cabin. However, there were several issues that should be addressed. We encountered multiple broken blinds, missing curtains, and a broken toilet paper holder in the downstairs bathroom. There was also trash left around the cabin, including old salt bags directly on the porch and other debris such as beer bottles and soda cans. While we understand that things can occasionally be overlooked, this was disappointing given the price paid for the stay. One of the main reasons for choosing a more remote location is to enjoy nature, and the debris took away from that experience. Additionally, the hot tub requires maintenance, as the filter clearly needs to be cleaned. While the location and setting are wonderful, these maintenance and cleanliness concerns impacted our overall experience. we would definitely consider returning if addressed.
