A tragic turn for a once beautiful hotel.
The hotel is in need of major updates, when it was bought they should have dealt with that than the really bad paint job. The bathroom was extremely dirty, and so was some of the furniture. We were very disappointed in the lack of valet service especially for a 4 star hotel in downtown Providence. When the front desk was made aware of the state of the room/bathroom they did nothing and barely acknowledged it. We won't be returning to this hotel, even with the sentimental value it holds for my husband and I.
