I was at the resort for 4 nights. My first night I discovered that I was unable to adjust the hot water in shower. The gear and handle were broken. I informed the front desk staff and they assured the engineer would repair the hot and water adjuster. I returned to my room later on in evening. I took a shower and found out the repair wasn’t completed. I had to take a cold shower two days in a row. I told the front desk clerk the engineer didn’t repair the hot and cold water adjuster. I informed the front desk staff the plastic gear was broke therefore I was unable to adjust the water temperature in the shower. At that time the front desk staff offered to change my room. I changed rooms that Wednesday night. In the new room I was able to adjust the hot water temperature in the shower. For inconvenience the resort charged me for three nights. I checked in a Monday and checked out on Friday. House keeping offered to clean my room on Wednesday. Tuesday I had to request towels to replace the towels that used the previous night. House keeping didn’t offer to clean my room on Tuesday. In closing the a few of the lounge chairs at the swimming pool area had dried bird droppings.

This property was everything that was advertised. The staff was very friendly as well as accommodating. It is truly a luxury hotel.

I would like to see that there is a jacuzzi by the pool. A hot jacuzzi. Also, I did not like that the cabanas were $125 per day. I thought they were included. They were all empty.
Spend the day at the beach and work on your tan with sun loungers (chaise longues) or relax in the shade with umbrellas. Summer fun is a breeze at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico, where you can play a round of golf at the golf course, cool off in one of the 3 outdoor swimming pools, and enjoy a treatment at the full-service spa. There are 4 restaurants on site, as well as a coffee shop/café and a snack bar/deli. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include 2 bars/lounges, a beach bar, and a poolside bar. WiFi is free in public spaces. This beach resort also offers a children's pool, outdoor tennis courts, and a 24-hour fitness center. Parking is available for a fee. This 4-star Río Grande resort is smoke free.
