Superior room was nothing Superior about! Very long walk to the beach and restaurants ! Every restaurant requires reservations which are impossible to make ! Alcohol is cheap 💩! Towels replacment card is $20 ! Hotel's Dr and pharmacy are joke ! I will never come back and i will not recommend this place to any of my friends and family !

I have stayed there before, and there was drink service around the pool. There was no drink service this time, causing everyone to go to the bar at the pool, often resulting in extended waits.

This property is not what it used to be if I could give it two stars I would. The location the pools beach very nice. The food horrible especially specialty restaurants. Our first night we had dinner at hibachi awful experience , the cook had no idea what he was doing. He was giving chicken to people that did not order chicken shrimp to people that did not order shrimp lol total chaos. He was clueless boring and unprofessional I think he’s name was Juan. Literally it looks like they found this guy outside no experience whatsoever. Second night me and my fiancée went to Mexican restaurant order chicken fajita they just gave me weird looking chicken with tortilla that’s it no sour cream cheese guacamole rice etc. you would figured it would come with it told waitress about it she said you have to order it separate lmao. Top things off I ended up getting food poisoning should have follow my gut couldn’t enjoy coco bongos that night. The buffet is way better than these korny restaurants. Listen people that work there try I give them that. spend the extra money and stay at other better alternatives trust me Barcelo is not worth it I was highly disappointed. I have stayed there several times in the past not the same anymore.
