Thank you for your feedback.We appreciate that you choose our hotel as your tourist destination but we deeply regret that you holiday experience was not exactly how you were planning as our main goal is try to please all our guests expectations. After reading your comments about your experience, we would like to give our version as everybody knows that every story has two sides.We deeply regret that you were disturbed by insects but it is important to mention that our property was built up over mangroves and it is surrounded by lush vegetation where insect’s reproduction is easily also here at the Caribbean mosquitoes are very common. However, we have a rigorous insect’s extermination three times a week trying to avoid its reproduction and it is always important the use of repellents for more protection. Another important point to remark is that our transportation is not golf carts, everyone knows that these are part of the vacation club that has absolutely nothing to do with us and if any of those drivers wanted to take advantage and charge you to move you around the resort (which is not allowed) and you did not make any report, it is impossible for us to be able to help you if we do not receive the report or the information of the person who wanted to take advantage of you.Also we want to emphasize that when you came to talk with our staff, you receive all the necessary assistance, as we are always willing to help. According to our incident report, your complaint was based on 3 points. The first was the mosquitoes (we have already explained it previously), second, the extra pillows that you requested and third, the leak that you found in your room. Although you try to compare us with a house built in 1920, it is important to clear that even buildings built recently can leaks, since water can leak anywhere regardless of whether the building is new or not.We immediately received the report of the leak in your room; a member of our maintenance staff went to see the leak and was able to verify that it was coming from the bathtub in the second floor room. Given this situation, we offered you a change of room to be able to work with the leak, but you only wanted a free upgrade to platinum, (which is our highest category) and you began to threaten us that if you didn't receive what you wanted, you were going to post your experience on social networks. As you may know, we do not have anything to hide and we always face it because we are a serious and very well known company all over the world. We accept all kind of critics as long as they have made with the intention to construct and help us to improve the quality of our service but under any circumstance, we will allow any blackmail, threats or negative comments with the intention to damaging the good reputation of our company, looking for a compensation (which has any reason to be) or trying to be the hero for a day in the social media sources as we have thousands of guests who kno
