I don’t understand why our preferred room was the farthest section from the beach. The walk is too far to the restaurants for dinner and the beach. We had to bring everything to the beach with us we would need for the whole day. Sometimes staff in golf carts were available to bring us back and forth but this was not readily available. When not available it was not worth the wait.The garden room view looked down upon the main street. Morning coffee included numerous loud buses, trucks, and diesel fumes. Although we did have view of a few palm trees, this noise is not what I wanted to hear on my relaxing vacation. Upon checking in, we were told that was our room and it seemed like we did not have a choice. While we did not get room service every day, it was nice for them to leave us a 12 pack of water to get us through to the next service. For the Perferred area liked that there are 2 separate beach sections. Would have been nice to know this at check-in. We found out on our second day. The first day, every single chair under the straw palapas was taken. It would have been nice to have more snack foods (nuts, granola bars, chips/salsa, chips), but was good that there was fruit and other regular food available at non-typical eating hours. The best food was at the hibachi and the world café. Because our room was so far from the beach and restaurants, it took a lot of time to travel to/from our room to dress for dinner. All the restaurants required nicer dinner attire

We stay for 6 days first week of September 2021. The room was ok but poorly cleaned , when we asked the front desk they made us come back in 3 hours and switch to an other one. The food was the same for all 5 days, not a big selection. The beach very clean and nice but they had shortage of umbrellas which made a huge problem for our children.
