bed was way too soft and shower had NO pressure. and it was too hot no matter how low we put the air that was the negative I did like the hotel, loved the firepit outside and the terrace outside our room. The Wine and Cheese and Cookies at night. It was pretty and nice looking. I did not like breakfast but I am not a breakfast person. staff was kind, friendly and helpful...

The Avenue Inn and Spa is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Rehoboth Beach. A block from the beach, it is in the middle of everything yet very quiet and comfortable. It is extremely clean, very recently renovated and the staff was incredibly nice and attentive. The décor is beautiful, the wine and cheese is wonderful and the buffet breakfast is delicious. Also, the Blue Hen restaurant does not disappoint. We will stay there again for sure...and soon!

Not their best effort.
I love staying at the Avenue, however this time was not their best. Although the room was great and very clean, the absence of a full-length mirror in my suite was annoying as I had 2 events to attend. The location of my room was also an issue as the people on the floor were quite loud and made no effort to talk quietly, even well past midnight. Finally, breakfast Sunday was a huge disappointment. Getting there at 9:30, there were no fresh omelets, no fruit, very little ham, and even fewer rolls. The garbage cans were so full on both days i had to report it so plates wouldn't be littered all over the floor.
