A little bit disapointing
The room was ok, but did not have enough chairs (only 1), desks (only a small coffee table), etc. Big, emppy, cold room.

This was our 1st time in Montreal. The Hotel Gault was perfectly located and within walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My only wish was that there was a bar/restaurant in the Hotel that we could sit and relax at the end of the day. However, they do offer food/drinks in the reception/dining area during the day.

False Advertising
The deluxe loft did not have a private bathroom. There appear to be a very wide variety of rooms, some with bath tubs, some without a wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom. They all cost the same, they're all called the same thing and it's apparently completely random whether you get what you pay for. Chairs were very worn and stained. Lighting was terrible. They did not honor the VIP perk. Will not be returning to this property.

Very nice hotel, great location if you planning on visiting old port Montreal , great service. The only complaint I have is if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the room a bigger table.
