I was looking forward to staying here, but after my stay, I will not be returning. The room was quite warm/stuffy, the bed had no support and a drunk guy was yelling at the top of his lungs for over 30 minutes at 2am. Because the bathroom is shared, every time someone would have to use the restroom it would wake me up, since the hotel room doors are very loud when they close. Not worth the money or lack of sleep.

All was fine

We got in late, but a not was on the door telling us how to check in. That was thoughtful!

Stay away

No elevator, but all rooms are on upper floors. The check-in desk is three blocks away. The room was quaint but certainly not up-to-date. There appears to be no security. If you are wheelchair-bound or have problems with steps, you won't be able to get to your room without help. And don't expect to get it from the hotel staff because there is none. They're all at the other hotel, three blocks away. This is one hotel I would never choose and will never stay again.

Horrible! Avoid at all cost!!!!

This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had. First off, the room didn't have a heater or AC to control the temperature. In the evening I would come back to the hotel only to hear someone playing the drums really loud. I guess the hotel is right by some apartments and the wall is right next to the hotel's wall. It is because San Fran is so compact and there is hardly room inbetween each building. Anyways, it was really annoying since I wanted my peace and quiet when I got to the hotel. Rooms have shared bathrooms and showers. It is a pain in the butt when all the rooms are occupied. Parking is a pain. The hotel doesn't have its own dedicated parking spots for their customers. You have to either pay at the meter or pay to park in the parking garage next to the hotel. If you want to deal with all these hassles, feel free to do so. But just thought I give you the heads up on this horrible hotel.

bad experience,the Encore Express Hotel does not hae afront desk.

we were never told that we had to share the bathroom with other people in the hotel.The bathroom was located in the hallway and we had to have a key to get in.when I booked the hotel they never mention it.We had to go to another hotel
