The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are friendly and welcoming! I usually stay somewhere nearby when I’m in the neighborhood but this time, I had my 89 year old mother-in-law in tow so I thought I’d get something less sterile. I found the Bristol online and thought it looked lovely. I was actually underwhelmed when I pulled up as the exterior is unassuming (but secure, well lit with plenty of parking). Once I walked in the lobby though, I was dazzled!! Every inch of the place was beautifully decorated! I wanted an early check in as my MIL was getting tired. The manager was very helpful and said he would get us a room right away, which he did! The room was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. I wasn’t able to stream content on their tv though as I am used to doing at other hotels but that wasn’t a big deal. I was able to use a hdmi cable and my laptop so she could watch her shows. Overall, I was above satisfied with our stay at the Bristol.

Decor is a very nice change from contemporary hotel decor. Sure it is a bit repetitive, so what? I much prefer this imitation of european opulence to modern, contemporary hotels that typically charge more per night for a room. The comfort is equal to Marriott Courtyard or Hilton Doubletree but the experience is unique and pleasant rather than generic.
