This property had a good rating and reputation however the place is not clean! They are in the middle of updating and it looks ok but you can tell they are trying to do it themselves as the paint is not even around the edges or the coats on the doors. The doors to the rooms are not the heavy, secure, noise-damping doors you would expect in a hotel. Our bathroom was partially updated but the old light switch was dirty with ground in dirt, the edges of the sink were dirty and the bathtub had peeling paint. The room smelled and we had to go buy air freshener, The window seals were moldy and not clean. The mattresses were new but the sheets were old and did not fit. We had to ask to have a lamp brought to the room, our TV stopped working, the chair was broken and the elevator broke down. The breakfast was good and the staff making food was friendly and helpful. When I checked out, they did not ask me if I wanted a printed receipt. When I asked for a printed receipt the clerk seemed annoyed by the extra work. On the last day, of our stay we found a cockroach in the room. This hotel has a long way to go to meet the standards you would expect from a Hilton.
