Homeless people sleeping under stairs and all over property. Had to clean period blood off the bathroom floor.

We could not get the air and heat to work, and it could be spruced up a bit with better landscaping. And the grab and go breakfast consisted of oatmeal you could make, a chocolate muffin, and you had to make instant coffee because they haven’t had a coffee shipment in weeks they said. Kind of disappointing. It’s a relatively older building so there’s only so much you can do! Otherwise it was fine.

The stairwells of this motel were filled with multiple bags of garbage. Trash and bags of dirty towels and sheets were sitting outside our door when we arrived and were there for hours.
The furniture in the room was pretty banged up and worn. The blanket on the bed was extremely thin. 3 bed pillows for two people.

I wish I had paid more attention to other reviews! Our carpet looked as if it was from a murder scene…even if it was clean I couldn’t bring myself to take off my socks. The previous visitor covered the smoke detector with plastic and I assume that is why the room smelled of smoke. We were greeted by lovely hosts but the mood was quickly lost when a long term guest let their pet wet the floor in the lobby and no one flinched. First Extended Stay that let me down.

It wasn't particularly clean and it wasn't very well lit. Cigarette smoke blew in from the HVAC system from people outside the room.
