We absolutely love everything about the Hotel Gran Jimenoa. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is so peaceful and unique. It is one of our favorite vacation spots!

Absolutely beautiful setting in the mountains

Pros: The cost was very reasonable for this fabulous hotel
Our family just spent 3 days and 2 nights at this amazing hotel nestled in the mountains near a roaring river. Our rooms were quite nice and located close to the pool area and playground. Our 4-yr old grandson was so excited to return to this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the fried coconut dessert was amazing - we purchased it both nights of our stay. Would definitely return and bring our other son with us.

Nice hotel, bad rooms.

Pros: The location.
Cons: Dated rooms and the power situation.
Location: Location is amazing if you want to disconnect yourself from the city noise.
No internet in the rooms, power went off 6 times, a/c stop working 3 times and rooms were dated, I got moved to another room, late at night due to the air conditioning to a tiny room, hotel staff was nice, facilities were ok, restaurant food and staff was good.
