Flights were cancelled for 2 straight days of a 3 night stay. Hotel insisted me and my pregnant wife should take a 5+ hour ferry in choppy seas even though airline said this was not an option by time we were able to talk to an agent and were doubtful ferries would be running given adverse weather conditions.
Hotel had no flexibility with reservations and charged full stay even though they knew night 1 befpre scheduled arrival we would not be making the trip

Dear guest.
We are very sorry for all the troubles you had during your trip.
The certain airline company you were using cancelled their flight but you had the chance to arrive in Santorini using another airline company or the ferries which were working normally.
We wonder how did you know 1 day before that your flight will be cancelled, since the cancellation was announced because of the strong winds at that certain time of your departure.
Next day you could arrive using same airline company or any other or a speed ferry so you could be in Santorini the next morning of your expected evening arrival.
Of course, you can make changes to your own travel program but you have also to consider the cancellation policies of your reservations.
Is clear that your 3.5 days of vacation in Santorini could be done for 3 days.
You rate us 1/5 without to visit us just because we didn’t accept to refund your payment when you “decided” to change your program !
