Everyone at Hotel 116 is cheerful and happy to help. The hotel is comfortable and in a great location. There is a terrific restaurant attached and one of the best coffee shops every next to the restaurant. I was happy I found it!

This is the second time I have stayed at this property. Both times were for two day stays. The first stay I was in a ground floor room, the carpet is very old an stunk. The room was on the ground floor and every time I took a shower it filled with 5"-6" of water and did not drain properly. There was no shower curtain in the shower and despite promises from the front desk that they would bring a shower curtain they never did during my stay, forcing me to turn the bathroom into a swamp every time I showered. The restaurant is sub par and incredibly over priced. Plan on spending over $20 for a basic burger and $10 for an underwhelming house salad. Plus there is a $30/ day parking fee. This stay my room was on the second floor, and while it had a shower curtain, it filled with standing water every time I showered just like my previous visit. All I wanted to do when I got to the room the first night was crawl into bed and sleep, but I was disgusted to find a thick crusty brown stains of an unknown substance on the fitted sheet when I pulled back the covers. I called down to the front desk to ask for new sheets but just like the shower curtain my first stay, they never arrived. So I washed the flat sheet in the sink and dried it myself. By the time I paid the parking fees associated with my stay it would have been cheaper and nicer to stay at the Hilton or Marriott hotels nearby. Never again!

The coffee shop and restaurant are accessible from inside the hotel. Both great places! Food is excellent and well priced. Staff is friendly. Nice outdoor picnic and play area.

Booked room, tried to check in at front desk, and the clerk said my card would not process. Left to go deposit money into my bank account & when I was leaving the bank, I get a call saying that I’m blacklisted in their system. For what, I’m not entirely sure, I’ve only stayed there 1 other time & I had no known issues at that time. Now I get to freeze my ass off sleeping in my car because my refund won’t process for 7-10 days. Great.
