"The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, but that in no way disturbed us.
There was some confusion initially when having booked and obviously paid for an "executive" room (seating area, city views, large shower room etc) we found ourselves in a small room with a bed, tiny desk, minute bathroom and a non-existent view). After double checking my booking I returned to reception and explained our disappointment. The gentleman on duty was so helpful. I showed him my booking email, and we were immediately moved to a large "roof-top" room with a view that faced due East we could see from the British Museum past the Shard and right around to the London Eye. We had a very nice seating area and a large bathroom (with huge shower). We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was my 4th time there and (apart from the great room) I appreciate that all rooms have a fridge you can use. The location which is a couple of minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road tube, and Oxford St. Having stayed on my own twice the staff have always been helpful. "
