If you want comfortable rooms with good mattresses and bedding, then this is the place for you. The air conditioner wasn't too loud and kept the room nice and cool. The bedding was very clean as was the room. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
However, the facilities needs some TLC. It was almost impossible to find at night. There is no large, lit sign by the road or even on the building. I was only able to find it because I analyzed my map to find the building. There was a bucket collecting a leak on the third floor. The paint and walls in the public places need some mending. Also, they need to make sure all the things work in each room. In my first room, the cable did not work (I know how to work the tv and cable, so it was not a user error.) They moved me to a second room which was not ready, clearly it was being remodeled. The service representative apologized profusely and moved me to another room, even helping me carry my things. The third room, however, was excellent and everything worked.
When I return to Sherman, I will still stay there as ultimately it's clear they're working on finishing renovations and they have an excellent staff.
