Fecis all over toilet and bathroom. Staff got mad because she thought we put the key card on the desk to hard. She called manager and followed us outside while recording us and our vehicle. Manager didn’t see an issue with staffs behavior. We didn’t stay and they refused to refund our money for the room.

The positives are the water slide, the location (easy and quick to get to from the highway), and the price.
However, I would not stay here again- There were crumbs and a torn shirt tag in one of our beds and the carpet in the room was damp.

1 small bed for 2 adults, ( one of the beds was missing)toilet broke- I had to fix it. Socks are brown from dirty carpet . Tha hall smelt terrible. Paid way to much for this.

Upon arrival they were having technical difficulties with Wi-Fi therefore no keys can be made to get indoors, however the manager on duty was very kind and diligent in trying to get things acquired for the check-in guess she is new to the hotel and saw the things that were unacceptable such as a plug the toilet in our room no hot tub cold hallways poorly maintained over the past however many years it's been since they opened it but I do see this young lady doing her best to bring that hotel back up to par so for her I give the hotel a+ rating and her determination to make it a better spot. Considering she worked the entire weekend we were there and did not get to go home I give this lady the manager at Dakota Lodge a 5 + start rating

The pool was ok! It says free continental breakfast and you get down there half hour into it and there is nothing out. No donuts, no bread, no milk, no juice, NOTHING! Therefore we had to spend extra money to go out and find something to eat in Sioux Falls! Ever no towels for the pool always an excuse “they are drying” and we would be in pool for 2 hours and still no towels! Bathroom was full of pubic hair all over toilet. Overall just not good and I’m very disappointed....
