It was our first time to snowshoe. The facility was nice but wish they had options to purchase things that you might need during your stay at the facility.

Not even a fire in fireplace on a rainy day.
Where to start. Some are not familiar with what good service looks like. Same excuse used was that the mtn doesn’t own ML. Bus stop to Silver Creek is a hike; esp carrying kids and skies. No wagons there. I was advised to use the stop that goes through a parking lot and very unclear esp while snowing to navigate. We preferred the Village stop as it’s a prettier long difficult walk to bus. The room was fine. The chairs had some wear, overall a little dated, temp adjust was confusing. Small TV in bedroom. Extra charge $15 for lockers. No hairdryer for $500 either. Staff would not deliver hair dryer and take $5 hassle deposit at room. Why not take that $$ out of a thief’s deposit?? Don’t punish good ppl with hassle of going back and forth all the way to the desk. Our room was nowhere near desk. Play area for little kids was removed and there’s an arcade. Btw Big Top doesn’t open til 2 on weekdays. ML is hit and miss and this time was a huge miss for our bday wknd. Pool closes at 9 even on Sat. Staff did not mentioned that but gladly took an extra $63 for it. Rooms do not have fireplaces either, despite what some of the pics imply. No dish liquid, just dishwasher soap. No shampoo, just soap. As if it wasn’t bad enough for paying guests to ski in the rain, there wasn’t even a fire going for guests to warm up. Unacceptable.
Pouring rain all day. No fire til 6pm. For $500!?! Trying to sell us even pricier rooms is biting the hand that feeds and will just inspire ppl go to 7 Springs, PA instead.

Ski-in and ski-out access at the top of the main lift. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Would go back and stay anytime I visited.

Our family of 5 stayed at Snowshoe's Mountain Lodge for a ski weekend. Our friends stayed a few doors down the hall, so we had the chance to see two different rooms. The good: the location is very good, right at the edge of Snowshoe's Village, with easy access to the Ballhooter lift. There is a parking lot for Mountain Lodge guests adjacent to the building, making it easy to get in and out. Both of our units were recently renovated and were clean, so our stay was relatively comfortable. The bad (check-in/out): unfortunately, there is a lot to improve at Mountain Lodge. Check in had to be done at Allegheny Springs, which led to some confusion when we arrived. The parking lot attendant was drunk and said that we needed to have our $#&! out of his lot by 11:00 AM on the day of checkout. (Inconvenient since we skied that day; we had to move the car to the Top of the World parking lot, a half-mile away.) The bad (condition): Mountain Lodge is dated. The shared facilities show their age. It is clean and the numerous sitting areas have decent furniture (great for a friend with a twisted knee), but the building feels like a college dorm. Each room is owned and maintained separately, so furnishings and decor are inconsistent. And unfortunately, the infrastructure is aged. Temperature control in the rooms is bad and noise from the hallways is very loud at night. Even the renovations feel like "lipstick on a pig." Overall: There are much nicer places to stay at Snowshoe.

Views of parking lot. Property one of the older accommodations on mountain so dated but it was clean and served its purpose. Close to Village and lifts so very handy from that perspective.

My room was supposed to be a 2 bedroom. It was a small 1 bedroom with a pull out couch.

Wifi didn't work in the room but the fro t desk helped me and got me connected to another room.
Not happy with getting charged extra money once I got there. Have used Homeaway for years and never had to pay extra at check in. Was not in my quote.

Great location and we were able to ski in and out of the lodge. Our suite had a full kitchen, which was great. There is no restaurant in the lodge, which is a negative. Over all, a good relatively inexpensive place.
