Nice hotel with many pools

I enjoyed my time in the hotel. The pools are clean and a good option to replace the beach on the days with a lot of sea weeds. I liked the food also. Rooms have good air temperature control and are kept clean. They just replaced mattresses ( still too hard for my comfort). The facility is very big and requires a lot of walking ( which I liked).

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! BAD.. Would give a ZERO.

Pros: Nothing at all...Do not book. Oh wait...there were a few cocktail waitresses and one bartender that gave good service but that is it.
Cons: Everything...Service, Entertainment, Cleanliness, Beds, Food, etc. We were all ready to leave after the first day. Disco was a joke. Slippery pools
Location: Cenotes and zip lining are a must. Need to leave resort for any entertainment.
Grand Riviera Princess was the WORST resort we have ever stayed...and we have stayed at many all inclusives. When we arrived we were told we owed over $1000 even though we already paid Travelocity over $4356 for the package of 4 ppl. Their reasoning was that my son turned 13 three months prior, which is an adult. We had to pay because we were stuck & it would've cost more for flight changes. After paying, we got locked out of our room twice because they did not have record in their systems that we paid. They asked who we paid because they had no record. Thank God we took a picture of the receipt on our phones for proof. With NO APOLOGY, they gave us new cards. The service was VERY BAD. Most staff expected tips even though it was all inclusive. They stayed around until you tipped. Mildew smelling room with VERY uncomfortable hard beds. TV channels & remote didn’t work. Drapes were broken Pools were warm, smelled and packed Had to get up at 5am to reserve chairs (some ppl had to lay on the grass) Sewage smell everywhere Animal poop on walkways All restaurant food tasted same as buffet TERRIBLE Most restaurants were hot with minimal air conditioning Children’s & adult entertainment VERY minimal. Even the kids (ages 6-16) thought theater was bad and boring The one Sports Bar had TVs but no music Was told that friend left in cardkey in room & safe was open. Untrue since she was only given 1 key & it was with her. Out of 19 ppl in our group, NONE would return

We did had to charge the children as adult, due to the fact that you report him as being 12 years old (when he was 13) - and this was reported to your agency as well. nice hotel

Had a good family time there! We Stay there 5 days and would definitely go back. The only think is i wish the disco would play Latin music. The bartenders at the disco bar can be a little rude but other them that we had a good experience food was very delicious.

Beautiful resort and awesome staff!

I so much enjoyed my trip here with my family and friends. The only thing I really could complain about is how hard the beds were. But over all top notch!!

The grounds and staff were wonderful, however, we had six people in our group and everyone got sick on either the food or drinks. The kids and adults spent the majority of their time in the bathroom. We did not drink the water unless it was out of a bottle. I have been to Mexico 3 times and have never had this problem. We would not recommend this hotel.
