Needs cleaning of sand from steps and walkways, trash in bushes and under pool bridges. Need a wash station by beach with concrete, hard to wash feet off then have to walk in sand again. Limited pool loungers for how big it is, hotel has 765 rooms x3 persons = 2295 guest and only around 1500 loungers. Very friendly staff. Easy checkin and checkout. Great place for the money!!

This was our third time staying at this resort. We were there 9 days. The resort grounds, pools, beach, common gathering areas are kept immaculate. Most workers are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food at the ala carte restaurants, the beach club breakfasts, pacos tacos, piaza pizza are very tasty and fulfilling. The main buffet is okay for breakfast, but hit or miss at dinner. Depending on stay length, you are allotted a certain number of ala carte restaurant reservations. In our case, we were given 7 reservations, of which we used 5. We were successful in getting all reservations at a time we liked (6-7 pm), even when we had gone late at around 9:30 am. The seafood was the hardest to book earlier as it doesn't open until 7:00 and seems to book up quickly. We tried to book on our first morning at 7:30 am and earliest reservation available was 9:00 pm. We simply chose a different ala carte restaurant that evening and booked for 7:00 pm for another night. When we checked in, we had been given a room on the first floor which we did not prefer. We booked a king room and asked if there would be another room on another level. The woman at check in worked very hard with her manager and found a fantastic room for us. The when checking out, my husband left his cell phone in the room accidently. We were down to our last few minutes before leaving in the shuttle when security hunted us down and brought the phone to my husband. We are always treated like family.

A wonderful resort to explore all the activities at xcaret! Easily. We had a great time. The only area of improvement is making it easier to book restaurant dinning by extending the hours , you have only up to 1pm to book each day & sometimes there is a line.
