The facility is quiet, a little far from the hustle and bustle of Cancun, but well worth the trip. Surrounded by a vacation village, the hotel is the heart of the planned community of Puerto Aventuras. The village includes restaurants, shops, condominiums for vacationers and retirees, and the famous dolphin enclosure. The hotel itself is small and quaint. The rooms are spacious and our room had a wonderful balcony with a hammock and a jetted tub. The pool is wonderful, complete with kids pool and swim up bar. The beach is adjacent and protected by a jetty and reef from the main ocean. It is very picturesque. The community has limited recreational opportunities beyond shopping, eating, sunbathing, and the dolphins. And the balance of Maya Riviera is a taxi or car ride away. Many families from around Mexico enjoy Puerto Aventuras because it is quiet, family friendly, and well maintained. The hotel was not full but the pool and restaurant also provide capacity for area residents who come with a day or season pass to use the facilities. Finally, the hotel restaurant was very good and the facility has a spa, fitness center, and scuba shop.

Great location. Can’t complaim! Jaccusi on the balcony is a big plus. Restauant service was a bit slow. Overall nice place to chill & relax:):):)

The hotel is geared toward Mexican tourist/locals, not people from the USA. There were very few English channels and definitely no premium channels. The front desk had DVDs, but they wanted to charge guests $5, even though they offered no other alternatives. The hotel also charged me double for my stay after I had already paid through Travelocity. I would not stay at the Omini Puerto Aventuras again.

Lovely, small hotel on the beach!

Our stay here was perfect! Staff was attentive and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel at home. The restaurant prepared our catch from a fishing trip in three different ways - grilled, fried and ceviche - all delicious, and set a special table for our meal. The surrounding area provided lots of activities within walking distance and the gorgeous white sand beach and crystal clear water provided relaxation in a beautiful setting. We will return, for sure!

Dive shop is great!!

I recently dove with Dive Aventuras located in the Omni hotel over Thanksgiving and had a great time!! The staff and boat crews were very helpful and took myself and my family to some great dive sites. The night dive was one to remember!! I would recommend this dive shop to everyone and I have seen a few in my 30+ years of diving. I am sure to be back. Curtis- Denver CO
