Relaxing views of native prairie grasses, historic barns and singing birds await you at our 1900s farmhouse! Farmhouse living minutes from all Springfield has to offer. Large living room with lots of seating. Original art and vintage photos tell the story of living life in the country. It's quiet, quaint & comfortable and while it's not fancy, we think it's fantastic! The home has vintage charms and quirks but also has upgraded amenities, wifi, and comfy queen beds! This vintage kitchen with its soft green cabinetry and vintage sparkle countertops has all you need to cook a meal or just make some coffee! All the modern amenities (except you'll note there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal). Large eat in space! Close to airport and more.

Beautiful and peaceful

I loved sitting on the porch watching the birds and the beautiful view of this place! It was just what we were looking for. The house was very clean and cozy with a washer and dryer, eat in kitchen and lots of comfort items such as fluffy blankets and pillows! Heat and air worked good. Everything we needed and wanted! Hosts were super nice and accommodating. Miss it already!

Peaceful country stay

What a peaceful and unique stay! The house has such cozy, old-school "granny house" charm — it felt like stepping back in time in the best way. We loved the quirky touches and were especially fascinated by the cool bomb shelter (definitely a conversation piece!). The quiet here was exactly what we needed to recharge between the busy days running our car audio show in the area. Thanks for the warm and memorable experience!

Fantastic get away

We took our grandsons and the 6 year old thought we should stay for a month The peaceful setting looking out and seeing trees and lots of green and very relaxing Beds were very comfortable every thing was clean We will be going back

This place is absolutely adorable. A nice little cute farm home out of town, and very quiet and just so quaint and very peaceful place to stay away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. We were in town for a race and it was nice to come back to this cozy little house to relax before our early morning run and then enjoy the farm scene when we return before leaving. We will definitely be back next year.

Quiet and peaceful.

The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Easy access to where we needed to be. The only complaint was bedrooms need to have shades for non-early risers! Will book again when we're in the area.
