Called left message never got call back. Called second time an hour later question answered. Got to Hotel no one in lobby but 2 other guests. After several minutes called hotel again let clerk know we were waiting. Clerk was not very cheerful or friendly. She did answer all our questions.

There’s a train that runs as late as 1130. We weren’t told about that so we were walking up several times with the train and construction wasn’t a comfortable stay because of that.

The room was clean & comfortable. I did have an issue with the TV & phone. Operating the TV requires specific instructions believe it or not. There was 2 pages of directions for the alarm clock but nothing for the TV (it turns out you have to adjust the input a specific way). I picked up the phone to all the front desk and it was dead. I called on my cell and got voice mail. Needless to say I was not happy. We stayed for two days and housekeeping never came. It turns out you have to request it 24 hours ahead. I thought that was completely ridiculous.

I was expecting upscale but this was ‘vintage’ motel with outside enterances only with 2 chairs and little table with ash tray. Many smokers sitting outside their room. Sunday morning breakfast stopped at 9:30 ( we got there too late at 9:35). There were improvements like bathtub, flooring, sink, but still disappointing esp with $200 price.
