The views from our room were the best of any hotel I have stayed in and I have traveled all over the world. Watch the sunrise over nearby mountains from room HH4. The fall foliage in the area was spectacular! The restaurant had a good selection. We took a two mile walk and saw a bear. We were distant enough that she didn’t pose a threat.

Hotel in very great location, quiet with beautiful amazing mountains view. Hotel staff are very thoughtful, it was only one king size bed room left for three of us on last mins but they prepare us two double bed room instead. Make us stay more comfortable. Hotel is very clean and elegant design with small detail concern well. Worthy for price. Very high quality remodeling building. Except is old hotel with old style building which could hear noise when people walk in aisle. Dinner seems really good but we don’t have chance be there for dinner. But def recommended this hotel to friends and loves to come back more.

Such a beautiful location. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food is absolutely delicious. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in the area.

Inn at Sunset Hill is Homey and Delightful

Pros: Delicious full breakfast included in the price! Very quaint building, gorgeous grounds, and extremely helpful staff.
Location: Gorgeous mountains, golf course, places to hike, Cannon Mountain Aero Tram
We enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Sunset Hill - it was a lush and glorious setting during our August one-night stay and we'd come back in a heartbeat. The bathroom in our room was tiny, but that is the only negative. Chrissie at the front desk was super-helpful in recommending a good local restaurant because the Inn's restaurant was closed the evening we stayed. At breakfast the next morning, we were delighted to chat with inn keeper/owner Sally about the area.

Very beautiful place!

The hotel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by a golf course and mountains. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. We can't wait to go back :)

Not 3 stars

Room was nice and overall very clean, but common areas were not too clean. Staff nice and breakfast was great, but they kept running out of menu items, such as the specials and even maple syrup! Pool looked lovely, but when we went for a swim, it was clear it hadn't been vacuumed or skimmed in days. No soap or shampoo in our room upon arrival--when asked to get some, the response was "well, it's supposed to be there". It wasn't, so they promised to send some right up. Six hours later we asked again, and finally had to go hunt someone down who went and got us some. OVerall not a bad experience--really nice staff and owners, and like I said, the room was nice. They just need a little more atention to details.

Charming and comfortable

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet, free parking
One of the most beautiful sites in Northern New Hampshire. The views of the foliage from the room was breathtaking. The fireplace was warm and romantic. The service was excellent, the food was superb and the overall weekend was wonderful. This hotel is a place to escape the bustle of post-modern simulacra, this hotel is a quaint and charming inn with a 19th Century feel to it.
