Good place to stay.

Pros: Location, Location and close by everything
Cons: Let us North Americans know that the heat in the room is regulated with a nob on a radiator. No wall thermostat. But it works well once you figure it.
Location: Take a river lake cruise from the hotel in the summer. Alphen aan den Rijn has grown from 12000 people in 1950 to over 100,000 today.
This hotel is close to to N11 highway and a great place to do places around it like Leiden, the Hague and the lake region north of it. Clean, large rooms and just an A1 breakfast. Go before 11 am and you can make it a brunch. You have to see it to believe it.

Hotelroom and entrance to view garden with birds

Nice, helpful staff, very helpful and friendly staff! Very good breakfast, buffet style. The beds in the room were extremely soft. You can view birds in a beautiful garden which belong to the hotel. Or just walk true the garden.
