Front desk not to our standard. I had notified them of late arrival between 8-10 and we reached ~9pm. The desk clark George did not find me until I showed my email verification. He immediately found me on the same screen! I think this was a ploy ‘cause hotel was full. There was no wi-fi connection. I got $50 roaming bill. They cut me of in mid conversation and friend desk was unreachable until 11pm (my bed time). They will not pick up! I was shocked as to how to reach them from room 914 for night time emergency

I have stayed many times at the Prince Hotel as it was my favorite place In Toronto. This room had torn sheer drapes , walls that needed painting overall very shabby . I have always had a great room with a view . The lady at reservation desk when I mentioned about the drapes could have cared less. On leaving the hotel another guest at the counter , no shirt on, no shoes . Very surprised they would tolerate that . For the price I paid for one evening, makes you rather mad. My daughter checked us in and if I had been there when checking in would never have stayed in that room.

Great place to stay!

Pros: see review
Cons: The concierge was rarely at his post and wasn't very knowledgeable about higher end dining or trendy areas to go to.
Location: Nothing to do nearby. Commuting to the downtown area was annoying but doable.
Although it was about 20 min. from the downtown area, I could appreciate the Westin. Everything was super clean and lovely and the signature scent of the place was wonderful. The hotel staff was really accommodating and friendly, so it was a quality place to stay for a great price. The only drawback for me was having to stay out nearly all day to avoid the commute back and forth. Thankfully the bus came directly in front of the hotel. But, like I said, I I had to forgo going dancing late because I just didn't want to make another trip back and forth to the hotel.

Very Nice Hotel

Pros: location, cleanliness, amenities
Although we only stayed for a night, our overall impression of the hotel is Excellent. The room was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you'd expect from a high end hotel. We would certainly return should the occasion arise.

Nice Hotel, Terrible Staff

Hotel is beautiful. What I expected from a Westin. But staff is terrible. One staff member tells me one thing and another does another. I would never return or recommend just on this. I was going to tell manager but staff probably does what manager trains them on. Enough said

Great hotel

I really luck up in finding this hotel an a great price. The staffs were friendly and acoomodating. My room was on the 8th floor and the view was speechless. There were two weddings there during my stay. It's about 10 minutes from town Toronto with ample taxis to get you there. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here on my next visit to Toronto.

Good value for money with good customer service

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
There were some noises coming from outside (Like elevator engine and window cleaning...) in the room I had the first night. I complained the next day about the noise and they nicely appologized and switched my room with a higher floor room which was great.

Would not recommend this hotel unless you have no other place to stay!!

Cons: No free Internet, free parking
No free wifi in hotel however there is two computer in lobby with Internet service in place, no free parking for staying guest, $11.00 per day!! This is the first time I had to pay for parking at any hotel. Charging for these two amenity are total turn off for me period. My wife said she place an dap of toothpaste in the bathroom sink, that night it was still there which mean room service did not do a very good job cleaning the sink or room for that matter. This is our second time staying at this hotel, I always give 2nd chances I guess it's time to move on......

Clean and comfortable but pricey extras.

Pros: Close restaurants, location (easy 401 access), clean room, comfortable bed
Cons: No free Internet, pricey food, green program needs adjustment to include maid, $11 self parking
The Good: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice view. Complimentary bottles of water in room was appreciated. The Bad: Opted for the go green option but we failed to read that it meant absolutely no maid service - trash was not emptied - nada maid people. We thought it was just for the linen - our mistake. Room 1511 hears elevator noises all night long (also next to ice machine room). Even with suite door closed, we could hear the elevator. The Ugly: As usual prices for food and beverages were high ($4.00 for a cup of coffee or small glass of juice seems high) . We found a Tim Hortons within walking distance as well as an Artesian place right across the street that served up a lovely breakfast for 1/3 of the cost. We gave directions to Tim's to several other guests. You have to pay $11 to park your own car per day. Internet was $9.00 per day. They know how to make money on the extras at this hotel. Breakfast buffet was $21/person. Even though we ordered off-the-menu - our bill was over $35 for breakfast (2 people). No complimentary coffee in the lobby but they do supply some sort of water with fruit slices in it as well as complimentary newspaper on Saturdays. Overall - it was a pleasant stay once we got over beating ourselves up for trying the go-green initiative which really failed in our eyes. We prefer the green-initiative in other hotels where it's only the linens that's affected. The maid would still make bed, empty trash and refill any supplies that were used up (i.e. water bottles and coffee supplies for in-room use).

Great Toronto supburb hotel. Close to everything

One of our favorite Toronto hotels. Easy drive to downtown Toronto but is surrounded by great fine dining and fast food restaurants. Beautiful bar and lobby restaurant, very quiet. Attached Katsura Japanese restaurant always a treat. The hotel is right on Toronto Public transit line. One of our first choices in hotels in Toronto area.
